How do I sign up?
Please feel free to get in contact with us at KGP via phone or email to enquire further, or drop in at our reception.
Here’s what our allotment holders have said about their experience…
Why would you recommend the micro-allotments at Keyham Green Places?
It's a good way to get you outside to work in a small garden space, which makes it achievable and affordable.
Can you describe a typical day working in the garden?
I’ve enjoyed walking around and seeing other people's micro-allotments on what they are growing. For my plot, I normally do weeding and watering.
How does the garden benefit the local community?
It provides a sense of belonging, being outdoors, and growing my own food. Especially, the centre also offers free fruits.
Have you learned any unexpected skills through gardening?
I'm from a tropical country and I've learnt so much about different kind of vegetables, seasonal gardening and planning, which I think I can do better next year.
